We sat completely in the back of the train, so we had a view of the landscape, 'leaving everything behind'.<br /><br />After a short detour by foot (we almost walked around the entire Messe for nothing), we arrived at our hotel (with a cab). Very nice designed lounge and the room was great too.<br /><br />The first evening we headed out to the Rudolfplatz and had dinner outside, at a bistro popular with the local gay community (we discovered when the waiter came to the table in tight leather pants).<br /><br />Saturday we visited the Ludwig Musem, that has contemporary art (a.o. pop art) and a not so interesting photo exhibition, called 'What does the jellyfish want?'<br /><br />On Sunday we climbed the Dom, the cathedral of Cologne.
